About Me
Mazen ABBOUD is an environmentalist, a free lance journalist & a businessman. He was born in Douma in 1972; he graduated from the American University of Beirut in 1996 as an Agricultural Engineer; then he got an EMBA from ESA in 2008. He worked, at first (1997-1998) as a technical assistant on a FAO Census Project; then as a National Consultant for IBRD Irrigation Project (1999-2002). In November 2000, Mazen established a Consultancy Engineering Firm, ENTEGRO.SARL. Moreover, in 2001 he established the Federation of Associations of the North of Lebanon, the Union of Northern Associations for Development, Environment & Patrimony- a pioneer experience in Western Asia. Since February 2005, he is a full Member of the Directing Committee of the Lebanese Tobacco Board, a leading semi -official institution in Lebanon. Furthermore, Mazen is a free lance journalist who is member of the International Press Institute (IPI). He is also an alternate member of the Mediterranean commission on Sustainable Development of the United Nation Environmental Program (MAP) & an Environmental consultant to it.
